Dr. Wade Peers grew up in the Midwest but relocated to Utah for the culture and mountains. After graduating from BYU, he returned to his home state for his dental education but couldn’t resist his attraction to Utah. After completing his residency, he brought his family back to Utah, where he practices as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
He says Utah is a perfect home base for him because it’s been a great place to raise his four kids and to give him access to the mountains. He credits fatherhood with granting him the extra patience needed to work well with children. As an oral surgeon, he finds the most fulfillment in restoring the confidence and dentition of patients battling dental diseases.
Away from the office, Wade enjoys all things outdoors—including fly fishing, barbequing, hiking, and even flying. But recently, he’s spent much of his free time enjoying his new grandbaby.
