We absolutely LOVE families first!!! We have been going for 7 years and all the Dr's. Are amazing! They make you feel heard and cared about every time we go in! My kids love going to the Drs!!
Kelsie grew up in Orem, Utah and attended school right there in town, at Utah Valley University. After getting her degree, Kelsie took a job working as an ER and ICU nurse where she worked closely with patients of all ages and demographics. It was there that she recognized the significant need for mental health providers, inspiring a career transition to psychiatry.
In service of that goal, Kelsie earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Utah, where her doctoral project focused on implementing an eating disorder screening tool at an outpatient community health clinic. That’s the sort of work that really gets her engine running. She loves working with kids, teenagers, and young adults to navigate a mental health condition. She has experience working with a variety of common and complex challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, DMDD, trauma, autism, attachment disorders, OCD, and bipolar disorder, among others.
When she’s not helping kids build a roadmap for their own recovery, Kelsie loves hanging out with her husband, son, and two dogs. She’s happy doing just about anything outside, and is always game for reading or baking treats. Life isn’t always easy, but at least there are cookies.
