We love Families First! Each provider we have seen over the years always listens and takes time to care for our children. We are self pay, and we are never surprised with bills and they generous in offering self pay discounts. Highly recommend!
A Utah native, Nancy can’t imagine living anywhere else—the mountain views, four distinct seasons, gorgeous summers, and being close to extended family make it home in every sense. Her nursing journey started at Primary Children’s Hospital, where she spent years in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit providing care for some of the sickest kids in the region. When she later stepped away from bedside nursing to focus on raising her own children, she found herself increasingly drawn to mental health work and ultimately returned to school for specialized psychiatric training. Today, she practices as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Utah.
Working with kids energizes Nancy—she’s consistently struck by their candor, their ability to bounce back, and the lightness they bring to the therapy room. Her practice centers on early intervention, family education, and walking alongside parents as they build healthy groundwork for their children’s long-term wellbeing. ADHD is an area of particular focus for her, along with the meaningful difference that structured parent training can make in treatment outcomes. What drives her work is a simple goal: helping kids grow into their potential while making sure families walk away feeling heard, encouraged, and optimistic about what’s ahead.
When she’s not seeing patients, you’ll likely find Nancy logging miles on the road—a Boston Marathon qualifier is firmly on her bucket list. She’s also an avid traveler, and a safari trip to Zambia still tops her list of favorite experiences. Football season is a family affair in her household, where loyalties are split (happily) between both BYU and Utah.
