We've been going to Families First for nearly 10 years. We've seen many providers and loved them all. I love that I can get in quickly when my kids are hurt or sick. No doubt they have the best pediatricians in the valley.
Latifa earned a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University and a Master’s Degree from Northern Arizona University. After finishing graduate school, she moved to Utah, chasing the nice weather, outdoor activities, and mountain views. Still hungry for knowledge, Latifah plans to earn an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), between getting back to ballroom dance and learning to play the guitar.
Latifah has a passion for mental health and giving kids the tools they need for lifelong success. She loves working with kids for their openness and willingness to learn, and for the opportunity to establish good mental health skills at the ground level of a kid’s life. With four kids of her own (including twins!), Latifah knows that each child is unique, and their treatment should be too.
In her free time, Latifah enjoys hiking Utah’s mountain trails, taking photos, baking goodies at home and finding new food spots in town and around the world with her husband and kids in tow. If there’s joy to be found in the world, Latifah will find it, and she’ll help you find it too.
