Jason Horgesheimer, DDS

Dr. Jason grew up in Ogden, Utah, along with one older brother and three younger sisters. He attended Bonneville High School where he was elected senior class president, played both football and basketball, and enjoyed running track.

After high school, Dr. Jason attended Brigham Young University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and met his sweetheart, Kristi who completed her teaching degree. After serving a 2 year mission for his church in Frankfurt, Germany they married and he attended dental school at the University of Iowa, then completed a two-year residency at Primary Children’s Medical Center in SLC. For several years after his residency, Dr. Jason served at Primary Children’s as an attending doctor, teaching and training new dental residents.

Jason and Kristi raised their three daughters and a son in Davis County. Their three oldest children have also married, and Jason and Kristi now enjoy their beautiful granddaughter and grandson. Dr. Jason and his wife recently returned from serving as mission leaders in the Ohio Columbus Mission overseeing 720 young men and women, providing temporal and ecclesiastical direction and support.

Since 2000, Jason has been running his own practice, along with partners, serving Utah in Salt Lake, Davis and Tooele Counties. He also takes pride in serving various populations throughout the world through humanitarian aid and dental care in developing nations including Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Mexico.

When he’s not providing top quality dental treatment, you’ll find Dr. Jason running and cycling. He recently completed 55 full 26.2 mile marathons before his 50th birthday, and completed a full Ironman. He also enjoys boating on Bear Lake and Lake Powell and his annual backpacking and fishing trip to the majestic Wind River Mountains.
