We absolutely LOVE families first!!! We have been going for 7 years and all the Dr's. Are amazing! They make you feel heard and cared about every time we go in! My kids love going to the Drs!!
Dr. J (not to be confused with the professional basketball player) comes from the rainy but lush environs of Oregon to the desert landscapes of our fair state. He received a dental degree from Brigham Young University before returning to Oregon to earn his DMD Degree from Oregon Health Sciences in 1999. Finally, he completed his pediatric dental specialty training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, before returning to Utah to set up his practice here.
Dr. J. has four children with his wife, Stacy, and enjoys hiking Utah’s trails and olympic weightlifting, BUT not usually at the same time. He believes that succeeding in anything, whether it’s olympic weightlifting or dental hygiene, requires strong habits and a willingness to keep learning.
That’s why Dr. J teaches in the pediatric dental residency at Primary Children’s Medical Center and has lectured on rare genetic dental cases at several dental schools. Developing lifelong habits at a young age is the key to keeping your kids’ teeth healthy and strong throughout their lives. And Dr. J knows a thing or two about learning good habits.
