Amanda Smith, RN, BSN, IBCLC

Amanda grew up in St. George, Utah and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition, as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, just 45 minutes away from her childhood home, at Southern Utah University. Amanda later worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. George Regional Hospital where she experienced, over and over, the beautiful and challenging early days of a baby’s life. She fell in love with helping families navigate those challenges and seeing them come through the other side.

During that period, Amanda helped new parents with nursing, both in the hospital and in outpatient settings. She then attended Roseman University in Northern Utah, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Amanda is an Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, committed to helping parents make strong physical and emotional connections with their babies.

When she’s not working to keep little ones fed, Amanda loves spending time with her son and husband, skiing Utah’s world-famous slopes, playing tennis, and traveling.
