Kristine Naylor, CMHC

About Kristine:

Kristine enjoys the beautiful surroundings and recreational opportunities Utah has to offer. Her favorite way to start her day is walking with her husband and their three dogs, Winston, Tazzy, and Sprocket. She loves spending time with her grandchildren any chance she gets.

Being part of a child’s journey toward healing and growth is one of the most rewarding parts of Kristine’s work. She loves helping children heal and develop the skills they need to become successful adults. She is especially passionate about Narrative Therapy, EMDR, CBT, and Art Therapy, and enjoys finding creative, individualized ways to connect with each child.

Looking ahead, Kristine hopes to continue growing professionally by publishing her work and speaking at professional conferences, while also making time to travel. Her favorite trips are those that include warm weather, ocean views, and plenty of sand.

Kristine’s favorite quote is, “The magic you’re looking for is in the work you’re avoiding.” She believes this is especially true for children and teens, who may know they want to feel different than they are but aren’t always sure how to get there. Whether it’s facing a difficult emotion, talking about a painful experience, or learning a new way to cope, Kristine helps guide kids toward meaningful change one step at a time.

Parent Feedback

We’ve been going to Families First Pediatrics for almost a year and we have had a wonderful experience. Every nurse, PA, and/or doctor we’ve met has been incredibly helpful, empathetic and caring. The care is always top notch and I never feel rushed during a visit. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a pediatric clinic.
