Dental insurance often covers regular cleanings for free, but a lack of insurance shouldn’t stand in the way of your child and their healthy smile.

Following AAPD recommendations, one of our pediatric dentists will perform an examination, cleaning, fluoride treatment, and an x-ray. This offer makes preventive oral care affordable, even without insurance.

Integrated Care to Smile About

When does an issue in your child’s mouth become a question for a dentist verses a pediatrician?

As a parent, you may not always know the answer—especially if your child has been injured. Our integrated approach to children’s health means your dentist can consult your pediatrician and vice versa. Each of our board-certified Pediatric Dentists works with an in-house team of pediatricians, so you can rest assured your child will receive the most comprehensive care possible.

This team approach includes shared space and coordination of care, so everything from routine dental visits to mouth-related traumas and orthodontic outcomes are all significantly improved. For parents, this translates to shorter waits, faster solutions, and less back-and-forth.

Parent Feedback

Dr. Dallen Ormond is wonderful! We had been to two doctors at a different clinic that said our 6 month old daughter was doing fine since her vitals were ok and that she would fight the virus off just fine but to come back if she got worse and gave us the signs to look for to go to the ER. No medicine or any suggestions to help our poor miserable girl. Not Dr. Ormond. He showed legitimate concern and care for our baby girl. He took one look at her and immediately offered a flu test for her which the others did not do, he let us wait there while the results processed and came back in to ask us what we wanted to do for medication options and walked us through what each one did to help her get better. He is amazing and we are so grateful we were able to see him before clinics closed for Christmas. Thank you so much Dr. Ormond! Our baby girl is back to normal ❤️ Also, this clinic is so clean and wonderfully designed for littles. 10/10 recommend!

More Than “Just Teeth”

We all know that song about the foot bone being connected to the leg bone. It’s no different with teeth. The mouth can be where other types of healthcare concerns present themselves. Everything from infections to speech to an infant’s ability to suckle overlaps with oral health.

Because our dental practice is integrated with pediatricians, lactation consultants, and orthodontists, our care is far beyond “standard.” Coordinated care means more frequent oral checks, cleanings during orthodontic checkups, earlier orthodontic consultations, and better all-around outcomes.

Pediatric Dental Questions & Answers

We accept Medicaid and most dental insurance plans. Please get in touch with your insurance carrier to verify our dental office is in-network with your specific insurance policy/plan.

Yes! We love to have parents in the treatment room with their children. However, every child is different; some respond better when mom, dad, or siblings are outside the treatment area. Based on how your child feels, your dentist may recommend staying or stepping out.

Nitrous oxide, in combination with oxygen, is very safe. Most children tolerate “silly gas” very well. It has a rapid onset and can be reversed and adjusted easily. Nitrous oxide is non-allergenic. Your child remains fully conscious, retaining all their natural reflexes.

We love our special needs patients, and we’re happy to tailor treatment to each child individually. Our goal is to make visiting the dentist a positive experience for everyone. If needed, your child’s Pediatrician or Therapist can also consult on how to tailor treatment for your child.

No, we’re a physician-owned practice. Our owners are the same providers you see when visiting one of our offices. We’re a local, private practice committed to putting families first in all our operations.
