Blake grew up in Washington state but has called most of the western states home at one time or another. He attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate degree before returning to his home state to attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry, one of the most prestigious dental schools in the world. Blake left Washington with a DDS in hand and two children (a boy and a girl) in tow.
From there, the family relocated to San Diego, California where Blake completed his pediatric residency. He also learned how to surf, and his family grew a little larger with the birth of a second daughter. When he isn’t working on teeth, Blake likes to boat, hike, win second place in races around the neighborhood, with his wife, and snow ski. He’s also been known to strap on a water ski from time to time, having once competed in an official USA Waterski competition during college.
Blake is the favorite uncle to a growing list of nieces and nephews and it’s that ease of connection which drew him to working with kids and which makes even the most hesitant kid comfortable at the dentist.
