Dr. Laura Holden and staff were amazing. Saw our sick child same day without being an established patient and helped get us care. Our child is scared of the doctors office and the Dr and staff provided exceptional care and accommodation.

Zak grew up right here in the Salt Lake valley and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from Brigham Young University. After graduating, he was accepted to medical school at The Ohio State University, where he graduated with a Doctorate of Medicine in 2005. Residency brought him back to Utah, where he spent three years completing a pediatric speciality at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Medical Center.
Zak completed residency in 2008, at which time he came to Families First Pediatrics and he’s been here ever since. He is board-certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also the founder of Zarbee’s Naturals, a company focused on bringing natural health products to children and families. You can find them at www.zarbees.com or on store shelves nationwide.
When he’s not in the office or starting a new entrepreneurial venture, Zak is busy parenting four active, and often smelly, boys. Despite their enduring odor, he loves spending time with his kids, volunteering in his community, or heading out for a day at the lake.
