We first started coming to this location when our 1st kid was born 3 years ago. We just had our 2nd. They have always been extremely helpful. Even when we had questions in the middle of the night as new parents they were also kind and helpful.

Monica grew up in Sandy, Utah, to parents from Indonesia and Switzerland. Growing up a multiracial person with mixed heritage in Utah was hugely influential, and Monica broadened those experiences during medical training. After residency, she returned home to Utah, to the community she knows and loves.
The things she learned in medical school prepared her for understanding the doctor’s side of the relationship, but after having her two children and experiencing the joyous moments and the sleepless nights, she also understands how parents are feeling.
Community is hugely important to Monica, which is part of what she loves about working with kids and families. Working with kids means working with parents or caregivers, sometimes even schools and the wider community. She enjoys being able to maintain that relationship from those first moments at the hospital through to adulthood. Monica knows it takes a team to raise a kid and sees her job as being the quarterback, helping your team move the ball the right direction down the field.
Monica is double board-certified in both pediatrics and lifestyle medicine.
