Dr. Laura Holden and staff were amazing. Saw our sick child same day without being an established patient and helped get us care. Our child is scared of the doctors office and the Dr and staff provided exceptional care and accommodation.

“We’re all imperfect parents, and that’s perfectly okay. Tiny humans need connection, not perfection.”
– LR Knost
“There is no way to be a perfect parent and a million ways to be a good one.”

Dan Clayton is grateful for the chance to assist you in the incredible opportunity you have to be a parent. Kids are pretty remarkable, each unique with their own strengths and gifts waiting to be discovered and encouraged. Even as each child is different, so is each parent. There is not one mold, one right way to do things. Dan appreciates your insights as a parent, because no one knows your child better.
Dan received his medical degree in New York City from Columbia University in 2002 and finished his pediatric residency at the University of California, San Diego in 2005. He has been working in the beautiful mountains of Utah ever since. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and enjoys actively learning about and implementing the most up-to-date pediatric practices. He has experience diagnosing and treating complex medical issues as well as common ones in children from infancy to adolescence. He appreciates the great staff at Families First Pediatrics that make it a great place to come to work and help care for your children. He is confident you will be happy with any of the great providers in our offices.
When not working, Dan loves to spend time with his own wife and kids in Utah’s beautiful outdoors. He is an avid skier and mountain biker, and loves a great book if you ever have any recommendations.
