We first started coming to this location when our 1st kid was born 3 years ago. We just had our 2nd. They have always been extremely helpful. Even when we had questions in the middle of the night as new parents they were also kind and helpful.

Alyx is a Utah native and completed her undergraduate degree, master of public health, and medical degree at the University of Utah. She completed her pediatric residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and then quickly moved her family back to Utah to enjoy the beautiful scenery and year-round outdoor activities Utah has to offer.
Alyx has a special interest in mental health and recognizes the responsibility pediatricians have to help children and adolescents navigate difficult childhood events. She is passionate about minimizing trauma’s negative impact on physical and mental health.
She takes a comprehensive approach to health, focusing on mental, emotional, and physical wellness, and recognizing that focusing only on numbers (weight, BMI, etc) is not a reliable way to support overall wellness. She loves watching young children grow, develop, and show their personalities — and especially loves making them laugh with her corny jokes.
She and her husband, a Blackhawk helicopter pilot in the Utah Army National Guard, are raising three children and know the challenges and rewards of being a parent. Being your child’s pediatrician is literally her dream come true.
