Jennifer was born in northern Virginia but moved to Utah at a young age and has always considered Utah home.  The granddaughter of a family practice physician, she knew from a young age that she wanted a career in medicine. Jennifer graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Westminster College in Salt Lake in 2004. While working at Primary Children’s Hospital she completed her Masters of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner also at Westminster College in 2007. Her Masters Project was the development of a Cystic Fibrosis educational program.  She loves being able to help her patients and families understand their health better through education.

She has had many positions as a nurse practitioner but has always loved pediatrics. She worked in pediatric primary care for four years and then same-day surgery at Primary Children’s Hospital for 5 years before coming to FFP in the fall of 2019.

Jennifer is married with 4 children. They keep her very busy when she is not working. She enjoys running, traveling, and Utah football.
