Just had our first visit here and they were so great! We felt very supported and cared for. Dr Witt was great!
Whitney grew up in Utah and loves spending time outdoors, enjoying Utah’s natural beauty. When she’s not at work, she likes to read, ride her mountain bike, play sports, and ride UTVs. You can also find her wherever there is good Mexican food or freshly baked goods. She’s a mother of four and brings her own experiences and expertise nursing children to help new birthing parents connect with their kids.
Whitney knows that a person’s experience of parenthood can get tied up with whether they can breastfeed or not, leading to lower self esteem and other negative feelings. That’s something she endured with her own children and not always with compassionate medical help. Her aim is to help parents achieve their goals and make meaningful early connections with their baby while also changing the outlook that breastfeeding is a required part of parenthood. Fed is best, even if that looks different for you than for other people. For Whitney, walking into the room with a frustrated parent and a baby who’s not feeding, then leaving with a happy parent and a well-fed baby, is the best feeling in the world.
