We love Families First! Each provider we have seen over the years always listens and takes time to care for our children. We are self pay, and we are never surprised with bills and they generous in offering self pay discounts. Highly recommend!

Dr. Steven Rich grew up in Salt Lake City and spent his summers near the north Rim of the Grand Canyon working at his family’s business. After moving away from Utah for 12 years, he returned to Salt Lake City where he appreciates the people, the culture, and the outdoors—especially the mountains.
In his free time, Steve can be found playing the guitar, boating, hiking, or coaching little league football. He loves spending time with his family, gets a kick out of telling Dad Jokes, and admits that, when it comes to dancing, he’s as graceful as a baby giraffe.
As a father of six, Dr. Rich finds that parenting influences everything he does as a pediatrician. A kid at heart, his kids like to tease him that he chose pediatrics because he likes to work with people his own age. Being around kids, listening to the hilarious things they say, and seeing their pure joy and excitement in all they do makes his day.
Dr. Rich is passionate about asthma management, ADHD, mental health, Autism, and sports medicine. While he finds every age enjoyable for their own reasons, he especially appreciates the unfiltered things kids ages three to five say. He also finds their enthusiasm contagious. Dr. Rich strives to learn as much as he can from each patient and parent.
He also hopes to be fluent in Spanish one day. In the meantime, he will keep practicing.
