We love Families First! Each provider we have seen over the years always listens and takes time to care for our children. We are self pay, and we are never surprised with bills and they generous in offering self pay discounts. Highly recommend!
After growing up in the local Holladay area, Dr. Erica Takagi relocated to the Pacific Northwest to complete her undergraduate studies. She later returned home for the mountains, family, and medical school.
Erica says she was drawn to Pediatrics because kids are resilient, playful, and unique. Additionally, she was attracted to being a pediatrician because she loves working with families and it gives her the opportunity to build lasting patient relationships and serve underserved communities.
When she’s not swaddling newborns or chatting with teens at work, Erica spends her time making memories with her close family and friends. She is a proud Swiftie, dog mom, and lover of all travel, food, and concerts.
While she has a peculiar talent for assembling things like puzzles and Ikea furniture, she confesses to being hopeless with technology and giving directions. That being said, since she has mastered the mnemonic “Never Eat Soggy Waffles,” she and Utah’s grid system are the perfect fit.
