We were in the Dental part of it. First time mom to having my little one have any kind surgery and the staff were kind and the Oral surgeon was amazing and the coolest. The anesthesiologist was amazing too and even carried my daughter to the room!!

Kody was born just north of us in Idaho, but moved around both Utah and Idaho throughout his childhood. He attended Hillcrest High school in Sandy, Utah before being accepted to Utah State University for his undergraduate studies. That’s also where he met his wife.
Kody worked his way through his undergraduate degree working a number of jobs, one of which was working with kids at the Boys and Girls Club in Brigham City. It was there that he realized how much he loved working with kids and how rewarding it was to see them succeed. From then on, he knew a career in pediatrics was where he wanted to end up.
After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in 2007, he was accepted to the University of Utah Medical School, where he graduated with a Doctorate of Medicine in 2011. From there, he moved to Primary Children’s Medical Center for his residency. He has been at Families First Pediatrics ever since and loves being a part of the community. When he’s not working or running around Utah’s outdoor spots with his wife and kids, you’ll probably find him on a float tube with a fly-fishing rod, awash in total bliss.
