About Lindsay:

Born and raised in Sandy, Utah, Lindsay has always loved the mountains and diverse landscapes. After spending six years in Dallas, Texas, she returned to Utah to be closer to her family again. If there’s one thing she knows, it’s kids! As a mother of six (three boys and three girls), she’s experienced just about every parenting adventure imaginable. With two of her children having complex medical histories, parenthood has further deepened her empathy and commitment to ensuring parents feel informed and supported every step of the way.

Lindsay is an avid reader, history buff, and board game enthusiast. She has a small animal crew, including two dogs, six doves, and nine chickens she loves caring for.

Growing up in an all-girl family with two sisters who are also nurses, Lindsay’s always been inspired by the strength of the women and mothers around her. She’s passionate about their essential societal role and their incredible ability to nurture, lead, and adapt.

As a pediatric nurse and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, Lindsay finds immense joy in supporting mothers and babies, especially in their breastfeeding journey. Having personally navigated breastfeeding challenges with two of her children, she is sensitive to others and their unique experiences and understands how stressful and overwhelming it can be. Lindsay finds it a privilege to help new moms navigate breastfeeding challenges and meet their feeding goals so they can preserve that special mom and baby relationship.

Parent Feedback

We have been going to Family First Pediatrics since we moved to Utah in 2015! So 10years now! We first seen Dr Cody Crowell for a couple years when we didn’t have any health insurance. It was a bit difficult to get asthma meds from him without office visits and we just couldn’t afford to come in for a refill every single time. We switched to Dr Sherry Vlam who worked with us through and through and went above and beyond for us when we didn’t have insurance. We got health insurance and have been with her ever since!! She is outstanding! I feel like she is a dear friend! We chat in office and I can run ideas by her and she is like my sounding board. There are no silly questions and she is just phenomenal!!! She treats us like human beings and like we have a personal connection! When Sherri can get us in for a same day sick appointment we try to get in with Chris Cook! He is also stellar!!! He listens to mom instinct's, he will brain storm with you, he will tell you what he would do. He is just awesome also! We use FFP for ortho as well and the dentist and we have used the counseling center in the past. We love that you can text the Office, Call the office and we love how many locations they have. We will continue to go here for years to come! Thanks FFP!!!
