Haley Hawkins, CSW

About Haley:

Haley attended Brigham Young University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology. Then she relocated to the Salt Lake valley where she earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah in 2023.

Haley’s favorite things about the state are being close to family and nestled within Utah’s beautiful mountain ranges. Haley is trained and experienced in a wide array of treatment techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, emotion-focused therapy (EFT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Gottman therapy, Bowenian family therapy, and narrative therapy.

Her favorite part of the job is working with kids to help them learn about themselves in a positive, healthy, and supportive environment. She has a special passion for helping kids navigate trauma and come out the other side through positive psychology.

When she’s not at work, you might find Haley enjoying Chinese food and reading or watching Harry Potter and looking for words to live by.

My wife and I love Families First. We have never had trouble getting last minute appointments when things come up for our kids due to the many doctors and locations. It’s so convenient. We also love our main pediatrician Tiffany Thomas and would highly recommend her to anyone else wanting help deciding on the many great doctors at Families First Pediatrics to choose from.
