About Erick:

Erick was born and raised right here in Cache Valley, Utah. He lived there through high school, and left when he was deployed to Iraq with the United States Army. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for his service.

Erick graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree from Utah State University, before attending four years of dental school at Midwestern University in Arizona. Afterward, he continued his dental education with an additional Advanced Educated in General Dentistry residency. Erick was a general dentist for three years before being selected for the prestigious Orthodontic Specialist residency program at the University of Louisville. He was then an orthodontist for the United States Army in Europe, working with Oral Surgeons to treat the most complex cases of military children, teens, and soldiers. He fully retired from the US Army in 2019.

Erick is glad to be back in Utah, where he grew up, and if he’s not working you can find him mountain biking, playing sports with his family, playing the piano, or settling in with a good movie.

I’m always impressed with Families First. We see Dr Crowell for our yearly visits and sick visits when he is available. He is always attentive and never makes me feel “less than” for my questions and concerns. If he is accepting new patients he is your guy! However, I do love that when he isn’t available that there are other pediatricians within the practice and other offices in the area that will fit you in. The doctors notes can be seen across the board which is always helpful. Overall- very pleased!
