Sheri Vlam was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She received her R.N. degree in Canada and worked in the field of Pediatrics. Sheri moved to Utah in 1995. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at the University of Utah in 2001 and later received her Master’s Degree in Nursing (2004) with an emphasis in Pediatrics. She is board certified as an Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She has a broad range of pediatric experience gained from working at Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Pediatric Urgent Care, Surgery, and in the primary care setting. Sheri worked over 11 years at a pediatric practice in Salt Lake City before joining Families First Pediatrics.
Sheri has been married to her husband for over 18 years. She and her husband have 3 adorable boys and a hyper puppy. Sheri is a Canuck at heart, but loves Utah and enjoys hiking, swimming, and playing with her children and spending time with her family.
