Dan was born and raised in Salt Lake until he moved to the suburbs of New York for his teenage years. He returned to Utah for his undergraduate studies where he majored in English, and then headed back to New York for medical school at Columbia University. He then spent the next three years completing his residency in pediatrics at UCSD in sunny San Diego before returning to the mountains of Utah where he has been a community pediatrician since 2005. He is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dan enjoys diversity and the wonderful relationships he has made with parents and their children from all over the world. He appreciates the opportunity to assist moms and dads in the grand adventure of parenthood, and help children live healthy and confident lives. When not working, he loves spending time with his amazing wife and four kids, mountain biking, skiing, and he is always grateful for good book recommendations.
