CeLisa is the youngest of a large family and a local Utahn. She attended college at Utah State University/Utah Valley University and received her Bachelor’s degree in the Behavioral Sciences. She graduated from University of Utah in 2014 with her Master’s degree in Social Work and has worked in several different environments with variety of clients. She has over 10 years of practice with working in the public services and non profit sectors and she has over 7 years of experience working with children and teenagers in a clinical setting.

She has worked with individuals in residential, inpatient, outpatient, and group settings and has worked with victims of abuse, domestic violence, and trauma. She is also skilled and trained in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. She is skilled in the TF-CBT, DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing modalities and has used them for individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

When she’s not at work she loves to read, hike, travel, run, sew, and be with her family. She is a big fan of Jazz basketball, ice cream, and dogs.
